Gotta Find My Way Back

Okay so ive been bitten by the blogging bug that has been nagging at me for some time. My homie Tee (http://blackberrymama.com/) has been encouraging me to get more involved in Social Media…and My homie Malo  (http://imwithwhateva.tumblr.com/) made his first post today. Congrats Man! So now is my turn. I mean I follow a slew of blogs mostly fashion so why not try my hand in this trend.

I went to sleep as a 16 yr old and woke up an adult with responsibilities and bills to pay. I mean school is over I got my degree (Check) and now I have an entry level position (Check). What happened to the days of my late teens and early twenties when I used to frolick around NYC with only a metrocard and a dream?? (I sound like a geezer im only 24). Fresh faced..age appropriate fashion walking the Brooklyn Bridge or going to times square and taking random photos with strange characters…or getting all gussied up for a birthday dinner…adding makeup to enhance my age for entry into a club. When did all of that turn into a regular 9-5?? You walk the same path everyday see the same people hear the same sounds. Where did the spice of life go? Why didnt anyone give me a pep talk on how graduating from college meant graduating to a humdrum life.
